White Gildan crew neck unisex t-shirt with silkscreen print of oRMo’s illustration. Hand printed locally by Paranoid Print Co. in Toronto.
We don’t know her name, but we know she raced in England in the 1890s. She was ‘wild’ in that she rode on the vanguard of cycling and clearly rejected the social norms of her time. The reference for this illustration is a photo that appeared in an 1896 issue of The Sketch. I located it in Kat Jungnickel’s great book Bikes and Bloomers (MIT Press, 2018). You can read oRMo’s review of Bikes and Bloomers here.
